Wplus9 June/July Release: Group Post

Tuesday, June 4, 2013

Congratulations!  You made it!  All of Wplus9 Design's June/July Release goodies are available, to you, today, for all your stamping needs AND wants ;).  But before you're off to the Wplus9 Design Online Store, if you haven't already been there, we've all got one final creation to share, and I believe that I promised you all more from Sweets & Treats.  Enjoy!
I started this layout by stamping the rows of cupcakes, in Jet Black ink, on a piece of White cardstock; filling them in, with both Sweets & Treats Fillers and by hand, with Soft Suede, Chocolate Chip, Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Pretty in Pink, Wisteria Wonder, Barely Banana, Pool Party, Lucky Limeade, Pumpkin Pie, & Real Red inks; adding a few, strategically-placed kisses of glitter and Crystal Effects for shine; ink distressing its edges; and anchoring it, to the mint, designer, patterned, paper, base page, with black-threaded, straight, machine stitches.  I then stuck a white, paper doily near its top right edge, before adhering my White, cardstock, matted, photo grid and dressing up its top edge with a stamped banner.  The little pennants were stamped, in Wisteria Wonder, Pool Party, and Barely Banana inks, on White cardstock and hand cut out; and the pink bits were die-cut from Ballet Slippers cardstock, stamped, in White ink, with the gingham pattern, and ink distressed.  They were then adhered, with foam tape, in the manner you see below; anchored, at either end, with white, string bows; and dressed up with clear gemstones.
The "love billy vanilly" title was created with multi-colored, sprinkle alphas; white, foam Thickers; and a die-cut, from Kraft cardstock, and ink distressed "love".
I then die-cut the XOXO Border, as well as the little bow, from purple felt; pieced them in the manner you see here; and anchored the former with white-threaded, straight, machine stitches.  A stamped, in Wisteria Wonder and Jet Black inks, on a Ballet Slippers, cardstock, die cut tag, "seize the CUPCAKE" phrase was thread with white string and laced in behind the felt bow.
A stamped, in Jet Black ink, "HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY" sentiment...
as well as a "date:" April 21, 2012, Lawrence, KS, banner tag and a couple lengths of black, polka dot, Washi Tape, prep the page for journaling...
which reads, A fun stop to get cupcakes helped pass the hour and a half until Chris and Betsy's wedding reception, while they were taking pics.

That's all for this release, folks!  Thanks, again and again, for all the sweet comments you took time out of your busy schedules to leave me.  I truly treasure each and every one of you.  Please be sure to stop by the designer's blog links below to see all the goodness they've created for you to feast your eyes upon, and have a terrific rest of your week!  Big hugs!
